New Georgia Project commissioned HIT to test effective voter mobilization messages for Black Georgians.

Following an election cycle in Virginia where the issues of crime and abortion dominated the talking points of political candidates, polling among registered voters in Virginia elucidated the effect of this discussion on voting behavior.

In the July survey, SCOTUS approval numbers dropped significantly, following the decisions on Roe v. Wade and gun violence. President Biden’s and Congressional Democrats’ approval slightly increased since the previous poll.

The April BlackTrack Report highlights the survey’s top tracking questions related to President Biden’s Administration and Congressional Democrats’ job approval and performance. In the March survey, President Biden and Democrats’ job performance approval numbers remained steady among Black voters, retaining a supermajority in job performance approval. 

The results of the November BlackTrack underscore the economic hardship many Black voters face and offer insight into Biden’s declining approval numbers among Black voters.

One goal of the September BlackTrack is to find out who are the unvaccinated Black voters and what it would take to get them vaccinated.
