Media Affairs Specialist
HIT Strategies is seeking a full-time media affairs specialist to handle the media relations and fundamental communications tasks. Working with the Senior Director of Communications, the media affairs specialist will implement the company’s earned media strategy to support the company’s goals and objectives and increase the organization’s visibility.
HIT Strategies is seeking two (2) Research Managers to coordinate and lead research teams of two to four staffers, including research analysts, in conducting qualitative and quantitative research. Due to the fast-paced nature of the company, an experienced research analyst who is eager to lead a team, build further department structure, manage, train, support, and encourage research staffers. Someone with a personal commitment to high standards would be ideal for this position.
HIT Strategies is seeking a full-time Data Manager, specializing in data document programming, starting immediately. The position would lead a small team of data staffer in the work of data analysis, polling sample management, post-stratification weighting, and data document coding and production.
Paid Communications Internship – Media Affairs
HIT Strategies is seeking 2 full-time media affairs interns. This internship is remote and provides hands-on experience in media relations, political communications, data communications, and public relations. Regular responsibilities include writing the first draft of press releases and other media assets (talking points, media advisories, etc.), media monitoring, compiling media reports, and writing media briefings. In this role, the intern will work alongside other communications interns to learn integrated planning: digital, website, and earned media communications. We work closely with high-profile political organizations and candidates, so interest in electoral politics, social activism, and advocacy work is preferred.
Paid Digital Communications Internship
HIT Strategies is seeking a full-time digital communications intern to support the communications office on digital media. This internship is remote and provides hands-on social media strategy, content development, storytelling, and creative direction. Regular responsibilities include producing social media content, updating social media calendars, writing copy for digital communications, writing blogs and other website content. In this role, the intern will work alongside other communications interns to learn integrated planning to include digital, website, and earned media communications. We work closely with high-profile political organizations and candidates, so interest in electoral politics, social activism, and advocacy work is preferred.
Paid Research Internship
HIT Strategies is seeking full-time and part-time paid research interns starting immediately for spring and summer. The position will be remote. Due to the startup nature of the company, a dedicated self-starter who is eager to learn on the job and grow into a larger role would be ideal for this position. We work closely with political organizations and candidates, so interest in electoral politics is preferred.
