Ross Miletich is a Research Manager at HIT Strategies. A veteran of national, state, and local campaigns, Ross oversees the HIT Politics Pod and works closely with candidates, PACs, and other organizations to elect dynamic and progressive candidates. A former general consultant, Ross uses his grassroots experiences to inform research design, target overlooked or hard-to-reach voters, and ask the right questions to guide a campaign to success.
While at HIT Strategies, Ross developed a deep understanding of America’s highly disgruntled electorate and provides campaigns with messaging to meet the moment. HIT’s values-based message construction and deep electorate analysis allows candidates to authentically present their vision to their constituents. Ross understands the material politics driving seemingly contradictory voter decisions, and can precisely position candidates to address key voter concerns.
Ross developed his political career at Lew Edwards, an award-winning consulting firm focused on local ballot measures to improve public services. He further refined his research skills at Tulchin Research, working on the Bernie Sanders for President campaign, highly competitive DCCC campaigns, and historic District Attorney races that saw criminal justice reformers defeat entrenched anti-reform incumbents.
A California native, Ross attended UC Santa Barbara, graduating with a Double Major in Political Science and History of Public Policy. He currently attends the CUNY Graduate Center pursuing his Master’s in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences. Ross lives in Brooklyn with his partner Katie and their rowdy cat Cheddar.
