Nick is a Data Associate at HIT Strategies where he cleans, recodes, and processes survey data. He brings over a decade of political experience – including five cycles in political data – and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. He is excited to be at HIT Strategies where he can help bring new insights into marginalized communities.
Nick got started in political data as an intern for the DCCC’s Targeting Department, working mainly with polling data. He continued helping elect progressives as a Data Acquisition Engineer at Catalist. For six years, he was responsible for acquiring, transforming, and overseeing Catalist’s precinct-level election results data among other projects.
Nick earned a Political Science degree from Miami University and a law degree from the University of Richmond. He lives in Washington, D.C. with his wonderful wife, two amazing daughters, and one particularly sweet dog.
