Maya is an analyst on the research team at HIT Strategies, where she works with political clients and advocacy organizations to better understand behavior and attitudes of their audiences and turn data points into narratives. 

 Maya’s previous experience in research and polling includes her time at Global Strategy Group, where she supported quantitative and qualitative projects for unions, candidates, and environmental groups. Before that, she was a manager at the market research firm Morning Consult, where she focused on global reputation work and quick-turn consumer insights for her clients. Beyond her work in polling, Maya also worked on the 2021 gubernatorial race in New Jersey, helping Phil Murphy get re-elected in a red wave election cycle. 

 Maya has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania, where she interned at the Penn Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies. She currently lives in New York City with her foster cat.
