Carla Hardy

As an Analyst, Carla focuses on the creation of research instruments, oversees data collection, and crafts tailored analysis to marry data points and the lived experiences they represent.

Prior to joining the HIT team, Carla mobilized Georgia voters on behalf of the Human Rights Campaign during the 2020 general election and the January 2021 special election. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Carla earned her degree in Public Policy with a minor in Social and Economic Justice. In her home state of North Carolina, she worked on multiple state-wide campaigns, including Justice Anita Earls’ campaign for North Carolina Supreme Court. Carla is passionate about advocating for progressive, just, and community-centered policy and currently resides in Washington, DC.
