From Ms. Magazine: “’They just didn’t see how voting for governor or people running for Congress would impact their lives,’ Nedungadi said. ‘But when we explained to them that because of trigger laws, Gov. [Gretchen] Whitmer is the only thing standing in the way of abortion being banned in Michigan, it was like a switch had been flipped. Then suddenly there was nothing that could stop them from going to the polls. Making that connection is going to be really important for campaigns.’”
