HIT Strategies Ramps Up Capacity, Adds Six Hires Across Research, Sales, and Communications Departments in Q4 2021

HIT Welcomes Nick Petrone, Jennifer Fukuto, and Brandon Brandenburg

Washington, D.C. | Dec. 8  HIT Strategies, the nation’s leading millennial and minority-owned public opinion research firm, has attracted a half-dozen new hires across three departments. The hires arrive when HIT continues to tackle the most challenging problems facing underrepresented groups, from protecting voting rights and increasing vaccination rates to reimagining public safety.

As HIT closes out its third year, it brings in fresh faces to confront the challenges of 2022. The research team adds two Data Associates, Nick Petrone, and Jennifer Fukuto. Nick is a proud alumnus of the DCCC’s Targeting Department and worked as a Data Acquisition Engineer at Catalist. Jennifer is a creature of the campaign trail – she served as a data expert for Hispanic candidates in contests in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Both Nick and Jennifer will use their quantitative experience to process and massage HIT’s quantitative research.

HIT’s sales team added Brandon Brandenburg, a grassroots organizer for several progressive campaigns. Brandon’s campaign management skills will serve HIT as well, as he expands our clientele in the Sales Associate and Copywriter role.

Finally, HIT’s Communications increased its capacity by adding three recent college graduates. Max Schulman is a Vanderbilt University alumnus and conducts earned media outreach as a Communications Assistant; Brenee Butler (University of Maryland-College Park) and Maddie Waters (University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire) assist in social media and digital design.

“HIT’s rapid growth speaks to the importance of our mission,” said co-founders Terrance Woodbury and Roshni Nedungadi. “We are securing young, vibrant hires who are excited by HIT’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the voices of the unheard. They will deliver and amplify the data that supports this mission.”
