Missed Us at the DNC? Here’s What You Need To Know!

What an incredible week in Chicago! The HIT team was out in full force during the Democratic National Convention, meeting with fellow progressives and sharing the latest research on the election.
We were honored to co-host the Going on the Offensive: Winning on Safety and Justice event with our esteemed partners Vera Action and Campaign Zero. The afternoon was spent in a meaningful discussion exploring ways to support criminal justice reform
HIT President and Founding Partner Terrance Woodbury joined the panel A National Popular Vote Playbook with Celinda Lake, Alyssa Cass, David Shor, and Michael Steele.
HIT Senior Research Manager Josh Doss moderated a DNC panel discussion on Black voters with Terrance Woodbury, Esosa Osa, Glynda Carr, and Quentin James.
HIT Chief Research Officer and Founding Partner Roshni Nedungadi appeared on the BBC for an election analysis and insight into voter trends.
Terrance joined Dan Pfeiffer on Pollercoaster to discuss the state of the race and how Black voters are responding to the nomination of Kamala Harris.
Terrance also joined Angela Rye, Tiffany Cross and Andrew Gillum on the Native Land Pod

We have a monumental task ahead of us with less than 100 days to go until election day – connecting with voters and electing Democrats up and down the ballot, including our first female president of color! At HIT Strategies, we’ve made it our mission to understand the most underrepresented communities that will have a significant impact on the election. Our research is getting to the heart of what voters care about and the messaging that will inform their votes. We look forward to working with all of you to connect with voters and achieve Democratic wins across the country!
