Daniel Maweu Lee is a Junior Analyst at HIT Strategies. Daniel’s work seeks to identify and amplify the needs and desires of marginalized communities. His recent research foci include mobilization and populist movements, human-centered design and racial equity, and the intersection(s) of sports, policy, and race. He is also a doctoral candidate at Howard University.
His dissertation uses archival data to understand anti-colonial mobilization in Francophone Africa. Daniel completed his Master of Public Policy with a concentration in political theory at the Georgetown’s McCourt School in 2019. Outside of work, Daniel is likely drawing, crocheting/embroidery, cooking with friends, or wonking out about politics, sports, or board games.
